Documents
Notes, plans, specs, pages and app records are documents. Each one is its own CRDT that syncs like a session does, so a person and several agents can type in the same paragraph at once and every edit merges.
Mod decides
- Documents merge per character. There are no locks and no "someone else is editing".
- A path like
notes/sync.mdis a display path inside a project, not a file on disk. Its extension sets the type. - Every change is kept with who made it, person or agent, and an earlier version can be restored.
- An agent changes a document with a targeted edit, not by rewriting the whole text over someone's typing.
- Comments belong to the document and anchor to a passage.
You decide
- What goes in documents, and how you folder them.
- Which app draws each type. When two apps can open one, you pick under Open with.
