View
The view is what a person is looking at right now: which documents, sessions and apps are open. An agent can read it to know what "this" means, and change it to open the page the work needs. Any surface can serve it: the Mod app, a terminal, or your own app.
Mod decides
- An agent reads the view with
read_viewand changes it withset_view, whichever surface the person is on. - The view only shows work. Closing something in it never deletes anything.
- A surface with no screen, like a VM, has no view, and the agent works without one.
You decide
- How your surface draws the view.
- Whether your agent opens pages on its own or waits to be asked.
