Identity
People, agents and devices each have their own identity. A person has one identity on every device. An agent acts as itself, on behalf of the person who runs it. A device, including a VM, is an identity too, so Mod knows where each change came from.
Mod decides
- One identity per person, the same on the Mac, the phone, the web and the CLI.
- Every change on the log names the person, agent or device that made it.
- An agent is never mistaken for its person. Their changes are attributed separately.
You decide
- Which agents and devices act for you.
- The name and look your agents go by.
